He previously served as a partner at Allium Trading LLC, where he successfully directed Southern Hemisphere operations for 16 years. His background as a university professor, researcher, lecturer, farmer, and consultant—along with degrees in agricultural engineering and plant pathology—brings valuable expertise in production-linked marketing, program structuring, and the formation of strategic partnerships with U.S. importers. Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, he contributes deep regional insight that the broader procurement effort leverages every day.
